The Challenge
A Large multi-specialty group (MSG) had been dealing with low productivity and low worker satisfaction for many years. Employee turnover had become a huge problem for this organization. With low productivity and low worker satisfaction, patient care had become a major concern for the MSG physicians.
Employee retention was a difficult task for the office manager. The office was open seven days a week and often didn�t close until late in the evening. All employees had to make sure they were able to accommodate the schedule by committing to work at least one evening a week in addition to working weekends. With more than ten Physicians at any given time and at least five Physician Assistants, the environment was very fast paced. The current staff was unable to efficiently handle the high volume practice.
